Valerie Very Positive Outlook, Inc. was founded on Christian principles by Valerie Peterson Owens in April 2004, in Saginaw, Michigan, to provide a resource tool for educational programs, family services agencies, churches and other businesses who are trying to get male parents move involved in their programs and more specifically with their children’s academic growth. This is accomplished through a series of workshops entitled, Male Manners, Reading with Dads, and the Family Reading Workshops, which focuses on building a reading, writing, and better relationships within the family.
Valerie Peterson-Kelly is an extraordinary woman who takes pride in her family and her profession of inspiring and empowering others. She is married to one of Houston’s Top Chef’s, Elliott G. Kelly, and is the proud mother of her two future leaders, Rashaud (21) and Ty (17).
